Covering Your Table with a Logo Table Skirt

What is a table skirt? Table skirts like tablecloths are used to dress tables in a stylish way. They cover only the sides of a table and adhere to it using table skirt clips and Velcro™.

Covering Your Table with a Table Skirt

Attaching a logo printed table wrap from Logoclothz to your table is quick and easy. First, attach the table skirt clips along the edge of your table with the Velcro™ side facing out.

(See Image Above) Space the clips 12″ apart from each other. We will supply one standard size table clip, per every foot of table skirting ordered.

Table skirts are commonly called table wraps. They are used to identify important tables like the ones used for board panels or city council meetings.

You may have seen them at buffet tables, the head or cake table at a wedding reception.

Non-printed table skirts are made in different fabrics and come in a wide variety of colors. They can be made at different lengths and heights to accommodate different table dimensions.

At Logoclothz we use 100% polyester for our logo printed table wraps. They are all printed using a 4-color process, dye sublimation print method.

Using polyester allows for bright and vibrant colors when printed. Because the material is polyester, it will not shrink like cotton if washed.

Logoclothz Promotional Printed Table Skirt Styles

So what makes a table skirt so special when compared to a regular tablecloth? The simple answer is the pleating.

Table skirts come in three common styles; regular shirred pleat, table wraps with no pleating, and the elegant yet formal box pleating.

Regular, Non-Printed, Shirred Pleated Table Skirt

Table skirts are commonly used for registration tables, meetings, banquets, weddings, restaurants, schools, and more.

The pleating on the table skirts makes them stand out from normal table covers. Depending on the event type will determine the style of skirting you use.

Promotional printed table skirts come in the same three styles and are printed with a logo or message.

At Logoclothz you can print on the front panel of the table skirt or you can print the entire skirt.

Our fully-dye sublimated table wraps enable you to print along the entire length or in a custom color.

Regular Shirred Pleat Printed Table Skirts

Regular Shirred Pleated Table Skirt with Full-Color Print

Each style of table skirting offers a unique appearance and style. The most common style is the regular shirred pleated table skirt shown above.

On each side of the flat printed panel, the fabric is bunched up creating a ruffled effect.

At Logoclothz we have 60 stock fabric colors to choose from and with our fully-dye sublimated skirts, the fabric color possibilities are almost limitless.

If printing the entire shirred pleated table skirt you would not want to print a design that is hidden in the pleating.

Rather, printing the entire skirt would be beneficial if looking for that specific colored table skirt.

Flat Printed Table Wraps

Table Wrap with No Pleating

Promotional printed flat wraps are becoming more popular because they can be printed with an image that goes along the entire length of the skirt.

This means you can have an image displayed on the front, back, and sides of your table when the skirt is put on.

Without any pleating, your design will be fully displayed. No design element would be covered by pleating because all sides of your skirt will fall flat to the floor.

Place a different colored table topper on top of your table and you will create a real eye-catching display table.

Flat printed table wraps create a modern and sleek appearance when covering a table. The skirt is made from one continuous piece of white polyester which is flooded all-over with color.

This allows you to create some really amazing artwork and custom colors to showcase your brand.

Formal Box Pleated Table Skirts with Logo Print

What if modern and sleek does not fit your brand or suit your event theme? What if you want something special and more elegant than the regular pleated table wraps?

Our full-color printed, box pleated promotional table skirts are the answer.

Box pleated table wraps are used at schools, colleges, universities, government offices, official gatherings and more.

They create a very professional and formal appearance while branding your logo or message.

The formal pleating will add a sense of texture and depth to your event table. The box pleating is formed during manufacturing when two equal parts of the fabric are folded along the length of the skirt. There are many other different styles of pleating.

How Many Feet of Skirting Do I Need to Cover my Table?

The first thing to do when determining your printed table skirt length is to decide how many sides of the table you are covering.

You can cover all 4 sides or just 3 sides leaving an opening in the back for storage. Having an open back is also ideal for when you are sitting behind the table and will keep any fabric from resting on your legs.

The next thing to do when figuring what size table wrap you need is to determine the height.

logo Printed table skirts can be custom made for different size applications such as bars, carts, performance stages, and more. Tables are also made at different sizes, often 30″ tall, 36″, or 42″ tall.

To find the length of table skirting you need, simply measure each side of the table you are covering. Then add these totals together. The sum of these totals will equal the length of table skirting you need.

If covering four sides use the following formula: Width + Width + Length + Length = X
If leaving the backside open use the following formula: Width + Width + Length = X

A guide showing how many feet of skirting is needed to cover 4 or 3 sides of the most common table sizes.

Once you decide how many sides of a table you are covering you can determine the length of table skirting you need. Just make sure to confirm the table height.

Why Use Promotional Company Branded Table Skirts

Printed table skirts are a great investment because you can use them at virtually any event. They are a simple yet easy way to stand out and draw attention to your organization’s message, company’s brand, school’s motto and more.

You can add something extra special to your display table by layering the table skirt with table toppers or table runners.

A different colored or even textured linen that goes well with the table skirt will add class and style.

If you are hosting events in the same venue or on the same campus, you can keep things fresh with new table skirts.

Simply changing the color of the skirt or using different color table covers can dramatically change the theme of a conference center.

Table skirts will cover those ugly legs of your table and are very durable. They are easy to care for and require less cleaning than actual table covers.

At Logoclothz our imprinted table wraps are all NFPA fire resistant which is great for caterers who use sternos and chafing dishes.

What Should I Know Before Buying a Printed Table Skirt?

With all of the benefits of using a printed table skirt for your company or brand, why wouldn’t you use them?

While great for places like company offices, venues, party halls, universities, and conference centers, table skirts can be difficult to deal with.

Like most things that look unique and flashy, there is a bit more involved to make your table skirt work for you. Once you know the size of your table, the table lip measurements and have a place to store them, the rest can be very easy.

It’s traveling with printed table skirts that can be difficult. To be honest, they are bulky and take up a lot of space.

If traveling you would need to pack the table skirt clips and then hope they fit the table you are being provided. Table skirts may not be the best solution for your trade show or any fundraiser where the tables are provided.

The Printing Process for Logo Printed Table Wraps Explained

All of the printed table skirts offered at Logoclothz are digitally printed through the dye-sublimation print method.

This includes the entire table skirt, even the pleating. This ensures a uniform color throughout the entire length of your table skirt.

During production, we start with a completely white piece of fabric cut to your specifications.

The white polyester material is then fused with ink during the sublimation print method. The table skirt is then finished in the style selected, whether regular, flat wrap, or box pleating.

Many table skirts offered in the industry include a front, flat printed panel which is attached to “pre-colored” fabric on both sides.

This can result in a slight variation in color from the printed panel to the other panels which make the skirt.

If you are printing on a table skirt it is very important to know your table size. Your table size will ultimately determine your imprint size.

If you put a table skirt with a 72″ wide print and use it on a 6ft table, you would not have any pleating on either side of the print.

That’s a Wrap!
